Secure, resilient network for a multi-site hospital group

The challenge

Three sites ran on separate, ageing networks with flat addressing and no central monitoring. Clinical devices shared the same network as guest Wi-Fi, and there was no clear view of uptime or security posture across locations.

What we did

We redesigned the network with structured cabling, fibre links between sites, and VLAN segmentation that isolates clinical systems, staff, and guest traffic. Firewalls and endpoint protection were standardised across all three sites, and everything was brought under a single monitoring dashboard with defined alerting.
